Managing Virtual SOAP Services
Sentinet Virtual Services are designed by administrators using the Sentinet Administrative Console. Virtual Services are versioned and they follow the same life-cycle management as registered business services. A typical workflow when creating Sentinet Virtual Service consists of several independent steps:
Design a virtual service structure that includes virtual service interfaces and virtual operations.
Assign a virtual service hosting environment, by creating virtual endpoint(s) hosted on Sentinet Node(s).
Assign transport and policy requirements for each virtual endpoint.
Assign Access Control to a virtual service, its operations or endpoints.
Assign monitoring options (a monitoring profile) to virtual endpoints [optional].
Promote virtual service to the Active state to actively host virtual service on the designated Sentinet Node(s).
Use the Sentinet Administrative Console to retrieve virtual service's metadata to build consumer applications.
